Howdy, babe! We're the only open-air rooftop cinema with two screens in North Texas, showing both new releases and your favorite movies. Arrive early to grab a drink, play games, and take in the views at golden hour.
Everything's bigger in Texas. And so are our screens. Yes, both of them.
We're on the terrace of the Worthington Renaissance Hotel, right in the heart of Sundance Square -- and we're the only Rooftop Cinema Club in the North Texas with two screens. That means you can watch your favorite movie on one side, a new release on the other. Pick your mood, grab an Adirondack chair or a loveseat for two, and let Fort Worth do the rest.
Tickets start from $11, which makes this one of the most affordable nights out in DFW -- date night or family night, your call. Dinner plans before the film? Toro Toro Fort Worth offers complimentary valet for diners -- so you can eat well, park free, and still make it to the opening credits. The terrace is fully open-air, so bring a jacket when the season calls for it and sunscreen when it doesn't. If you're from around here, that could be any random Tuesday.
Two screens. Curated movie lineups. Fort Worth skyline. This is a good night.
The cinema is situated on the terrace of The Worthington Renaissance Hotel. Rather than entering through the hotel lobby, we recommend you head to the dedicated cinema entrance at 235 Throckmorton Street, just across from Jimmy Johns. From the garage, exit onto Throckmorton Street where you will find our walk-up cinema entrance, or take the elevator to the Mezzanine level and follow the wayfinding signs to the terrace.
THE WORTHINGTON RENAISSANCE HOTEL
Guests can self-park or at The Worthington Renaissance parking garage off Throckmorton Street for $10 after validation (which is provided at the Box Office). Complimentary Valet is also available for any patron who dines at Toro Toro Fort Worth before or after the show. When the hotel garage is at capacity there is street parking available on Throckmorton Street.
Guests are seated on a first-come, first-served basis. We always encourage guests to arrive early and all together to ensure they can select their preferred seats.
Screenings are generally all-ages earlier in the day, with evening age restrictions for a more adult atmosphere. Guests below the listed age (13+, 16+, 18+, or 21+) aren’t permitted for that event, and those under 18 must attend with someone 18+. Check the age icon on each event for details. The age icon displayed next to each event is the best reference for that screening’s age requirement. For more details, please see our full Age Policy article.
The rooftop is fully exposed to the elements so please check the weather before attending. During daytime screenings you may want to apply sunblock, cover your shoulders and wear a hat, and on cool evenings bring a jacket or your favorite blanket.
All ticket sales are final (no refunds!), but if your plans get lost in the Matrix, you can transfer your tickets to another screening anytime before showtime—no extra charge, no hassle. Need more flexibility? Add Weather Protection at checkout and get a full refund if the weather decides to go all Sharknado on you. For details, check out our Ticket Transfer Instructions page.
We do everything we can to keep the movie magic alive, but if the weather pulls a plot twist, we’ll call it off and let you know at least one hour prior to the film start time via email. You can then choose to reschedule or get a full refund if you’ve opted for Weather Protection. For live updates, just check the screening status—think of it like checking the weather on your favorite movie's thumbnail!
We are a cashless business, so please come prepared with your debit or credit card to purchase food and beverage onsite.
Outside food or drinks will not be allowed into the venue.
We are Social Cinema – talk, laugh, text and snap to your heart’s content, but please be respectful of other guest’s experience, especially once the film begins. Unruly, disruptive or unnecessarily loud guests will be asked to leave.
All of our venues are wheelchair accessible, with elevator access to the cinema level. At Fort Worth, the cinema is located on the terrace of The Worthington Renaissance Hotel and can be accessed via the hotel elevators.
