Arrive early to take in the views and play games with the city as your backdrop. Select your seats, grab a drink and snack on classic cinema concessions. When the film begins, you’ll be able to live completely in those movie moments with personal headphones and an amazing view of the big screen.
The cinema is located on the 3rd floor Skylawn rooftop of the Embassy Suites Hotel. Upon entering the hotel lobby, walk straight through to the dedicated Skylawn elevator which will take you directly to the cinema.
The nearest subway station is 34th Street – Herald Square Station. The cinema is a four minute walk from the station. If you are driving, we recommend using the parking garages at 67 West 36th St, or on 70 West 38th St.
Guests are seated on a first-come, first-served basis. We always encourage guests to arrive early and all together to ensure they can select their preferred seats.
Screenings before 6 PM (Mon–Thurs) and 4:30 PM (Fri–Sun & holidays) are all ages. After that, guests must be 16+ and with an adult (18+).
No Refunds, but There's Always a Sequel!: All ticket sales are final (no refunds!), but if your plans get lost in the Matrix, you can transfer your tickets to another screening anytime before showtime—no extra charge, no hassle. Need more flexibility? Add Weather Protection at checkout and get a full refund if the weather decides to go all Sharknado on you. For details, check out our Ticket Transfer Instructions page.
We do everything we can to keep the movie magic alive, but if the weather pulls a plot twist, we’ll call it off and let you know at least one hour prior to the film start time via email. You can then choose to reschedule or get a full refund if you’ve opted for Weather Protection. For live updates, just check the screening status—think of it like checking the weather on your favorite movie's thumbnail!
We are a cashless business, so please come prepared with your debit or credit card to purchase food and beverage onsite.
Outside food or drinks will not be allowed into the venue.
We are Social Cinema – talk, laugh, text and snap to your heart’s content, but please be respectful of other guest’s experience, especially once the film begins. Unruly, disruptive or unnecessarily loud guests will be asked to leave.
