Top 5 Movie Moms
In honor of Mother’s Day, we’re showing our favorite movie moms some love! Whether they were busy teaching us important life lessons, cheering us on, or literally saving the world, these marvelous movie matriarchs remind us that “Wow” is really just “Mom” written upside down. To honor our favorite fictitious role models, we’ve put together a list of our most loved mommas. In no particular order…
Mrs. Gump (Forrest Gump)
According to Forrest, his “Momma always had a way of explaining things.” A woman of wise words, Mrs. Gump constantly did anything it took to set Forrest up for success (and we do mean ANYTHING!) Forrest managed to become kind of a big deal, and we think he definitely owes his success to his momma.
“My mom always said life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get.”
Mrs. George (Mean Girls)
She’s not a regular mom. She’s a cool mom. From her perfect pink outfits, to her impeccable hosting skills, we’d definitely invite her to be in our squad.
“I just want you to know, if you ever need anything, don’t be shy, OK? There are NO rules in the house.”
Bambi’s Mom (Bambi)
Beautiful, majestic, and gone too soon. RIP. We’re not crying, YOU’RE crying.
“Everything in the forest has its season. Where one thing falls, another grows. Maybe not what was there before, but something new and wonderful all the same.”
Helen Parr, AKA Mrs. Incredible (The Incredibles)
Raising three kids is no easy task. Especially when they have superpowers. Shout out to Mrs. Incredible who not only manages to save the day, but looks good doing it (seriously, have you seen her in that incredible suit?).
“Girls, come on. Leave the saving of the world to the men? I don’t think so.”
Morticia Addams (The Addams Family)
A strong and loving mother with a bold sense of style, who always reminded us to be ourselves. Plus her and Gomez are total #RelationshipGoals.
“Wednesday, play with your food.”
