Hollywood Glitz & Glamour: The Most Fab Films at NeueHouse June

We couldn’t be more excited to be right in the middle of glamorous Hollywood! Our new venue, NeueHouse has some seriously rich film history and we couldn’t be more excited to be a part of it. We’re celebrating the serious glitz and glamour vibe of our new home by sharing our most fabulous films, screening in June!

The Bodyguard (1992)

Why You Should Watch It:

Because we will always love youuuuuu. Seriously, what’s more glamorous than the life of a famous pop star? Especially when that famous pop star is the late, great, Whitney Houston?

By the way, do we have to be famous to have a super handsome bodyguard follow us around all the time? Let us know.

Why You Should Watch It:

Nothing says glitz and glamour more than tulle, feathers, and sequins. Not only are the outfits in this film super chic, but so is the big purple (erh, sorry, lavendah) bus. Limos and UberLUX’s are so out. Big lavender buses called Priscilla, definitely in.

Why You Should Watch It:

Because we’re fantasizing about the day we can finally tell off all the snooty shopkeeps in our life. The ultimate rags to riches story (move over Cinderella), Vivian goes from 0 to 100 on the glitz and glamour scale, and not just because some dude in a swanky suit came along. Vivian knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to do whatever it takes to get it. Seriously, let’s not forget that Vivian rescues Edward, just as much as Edward rescues her.

Why You Should Watch It:

Because there’s no group more glamorous or flawless than The Plastics. They’re teen royalty. If North Shore was Us Weekly, they’d always be on the cover. Even when nothing but sweatpants fit, the crew always manages to look sooo fetch.

Why You Should Watch It:

Because Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield are lowkey Hollywood fashion icons. We know that being a hitman in the Tarantino universe doesn’t seem super glamorous but you gotta give it to Vincent and Jules who are (almost) always showing up dressed to impress in full suits and matching accessories. Seriously, where do you even get a glowing briefcase? Asking for a friend.
