Skyline Views: Time your visit to take in the sun setting over downtown San Diego, watch a movie under the stars, bask in the full moon at midnight or enjoy the warmth of the sun in the daytime. Regardless of the time of day, you are guaranteed a stunning view of the San Diego skyline.
Food & Snacks: At the box office, we offer an assortment of classic cinema concessions including fresh popcorn (vegan), candy, and soft drinks. If you’re craving something heartier, we also have ballpark style food such as hot dogs, large pretzels, and nachos. You can see their complete cinema menu here.
Bar: For the 21+ crowd, our partners at The Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel have a full bar onsite for screenings starting after 4:30pm. Grab a cinema-themed cocktail, a delicious glass of wine or a refreshing beer to enjoy while watching your favorite movie. Click here to view our bar menu.
Pregame: Arrive early to soak in the good vibes at our rooftop cinema lounge, a whimsical space with photo opportunities, lawn games, table games and outdoor seating to ease into your rooftop experience. Just check the doors open times in your ticket to confirm how early you can arrive!
Movie Magic: Our program is hand-picked and features everything from cult films, to classics, to new releases. When the movie starts, you'll be able to live completely in those movie moments with state-of-the-art wireless headphones and an amazing view of our 24-foot LED screen.
Seating and Layout: We offer two different seating types at this venue: an Adirondack chair for one and a double-width Adirondack Loveseat for two. Please see below for the seating layout.
Tickets: Prices range from $16.50 - $25.50, depending on seat type, ticket inclusions and time of day.

Transportation & parking: Guests can self-park at the Manchester Grand Hyatt’s garage (just off the hotel’s main entrance on W Harbor Dr) for $11 for up to 4 hours with a validation from the cinema box office. If the hotel’s garage is full there is a surface lot directly behind the hotel in the Seaport Village, parking rates vary by stay length. Alternatively, you can arrive via the San Diego Trolley (Green Line), just hop off at the Seaport Village Station and you will be directly across the street from the hotel.
Getting to the rooftop: The cinema is located on the 4th Floor Sports Courts of the Harbor Tower in the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel. From the hotel garage, exit the elevator on the ground floor and follow the signs to the Harbor Tower. You will pass The Landing bar in the lobby and reach the Harbor Tower elevators or escalators to get to the 4th floor. Once you reach the 4th floor, follow the Rooftop Cinema Club signs (or the wayfinding signs for the Sports Courts). From the hotel lobby, turn left and walk in the direction of the Harbor Tower, when you reach The Landing bar turn right and you will find the Harbor tower elevators or escalators to the 4th floor. Once you reach the 4th floor, follow the Rooftop Cinema Club signs (or the wayfinding signs for the Sports Courts).
No Reserved Seating: Guests are seated on a first-come, first-served basis. We always encourage guests to arrive early and all together to ensure they can select their preferred seats.
Children: Screenings after 4:30pm are strictly 18+. Screenings starting prior to 4:30pm are open to all ages, but kids 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult (18+). Please note, our one-size headphones are best suited for children ages 5 and up.
First call: Bar service is only available for screenings starting after 4:30pm. If you attend an earlier screening you can grab a tipple at one of the many bars within the Manchester Grand Hyatt hotel.
The Great Outdoors: The rooftop is fully exposed to the elements so please check the weather before attending. During daytime screenings you may want to apply sunblock, cover your shoulders and wear a hat, and on cool evenings bring a jacket or your favorite blanket.
Weather disruptions: We make every effort for our screenings to go ahead. However, if inclement weather will affect your movie experience, we’ll cancel the screening and notify you at least one hour prior to the film start time via email with details on how to transfer your tickets to another screening or obtain a refund. You can always check the current status of a screening on its thumbnail visible on the venue page.
Transfers & Refunds: You're welcome to transfer your tickets to a different screening at any point before your original screening time at no cost. For more information, please check out our Ticket Transfer Policy page. Refunds are only offered when a screening is canceled.
Cashless operations: We are a cashless business, so please come prepared with your debit or credit card to purchase food and beverage onsite.
No BYO: Outside food or drinks will not be allowed into the venue.
Guest Behavior: We are Social Cinema – talk, laugh, text and snap to your heart’s content, but please be respectful of other guest’s experience, especially once the film begins. Unruly, disruptive or unnecessarily loud guests will be asked to leave.
