Rooftop Cinema Club Locations
For Pride Month this year we’re showing multiple LGBTQIA+ hits and films loved by the community! Vampires have long been considered a staple of queer symbolism – humans being turned into monsters, taboo, ostracization from a society that fears them, flamboyance and sexual ambiguity. Few films capture these themes quite as readily as the 1987 film The Lost Boys. Helmed by the openly gay Joel Schumacher, The Lost Boys is part cautionary tale, part campy joy-ride and chock-full of homoerotic subtext. Don your favorite leather jacket and try not to snack on your neighbor as we celebrate this horror classic at the Rooftop!
