June is Black Music Month and all month long we’re showcasing the power of Black music in movies. We’re showing the hip hop classic Belly, the star-making performance by Jennifer Hudson in Dreamgirls, the heart-racing Drumline, and the outrageous and hilarious Kid ‘n Play comedy House Party.
