Summer Series is our unique take on park screenings, which brings movie-viewing to one-of-a-kind outdoor spaces, like Dallas' Heritage Village!
1609 Park Ave, Dallas, TX 75215
Take I-30 E to E R L Thornton Fwy in Dallas. Take exit 45B from I-30 E. Continue on E R L Thornton Fwy feeder road then turn right at S Harwood St. Free parking is available at the corner of Gano St and Park Ave, the cinema entrance is across the street, off Park Ave.
This isn't your average movie-in-the-park setup. Guests are welcome to bring their own food to enjoy a picnic in the park! Grab a drink from our bar and play your favorite lawn games with the city as your backdrop. Select your socially distanced seats and snack on classic cinema concessions with contactless order and pickup. When the movie starts, you'll be able to live completely in those movie moments with state-of-the-art wireless headphones and an amazing view of the big screen. For special events, we often bring additional elements such as themed decor, specialty cocktails and photo ops.
Our number one priority is our guests’ and team’s safety and wellbeing, which is why we have adapted our operations. Please review our safety measures and rules for guests before booking a screening at rftp.cc/summerseriessafety.
Although we try our best to screen come rain or shine, sometimes we are forced to cancel due to weather-related issues. For example, the green grass field at this venue makes for a beautiful setting, but it is susceptible to flooding. In addition, extreme wind and heat can occasionally prevent us from screening. Oh, the joys of outdoor cinema!
In the event of a cancelled screening, we will notify you as soon as possible via email and text message with details on how to transfer your tickets to another screening or obtain a refund. Sometimes emails can be missed, so we recommend adding your phone number in the My Account section on our website using the same email you used to purchase tickets. You can check the day-of status of your screening on our Weather Updates page.
Free self-parking is available in our designated parking lot across from the venue. Follow signage across the street, and you're at Summer Series! Off-street parking is also located nearby. Handicap parking spots are available and marked in our lot.
Open to all ages, unless otherwise noted on the individual film page. Guests 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult (18+). Our headphones are one size only and may not be suitable for small children. Anyone age 3 and under does not need a ticket to attend, but must sit on a parent or guardian's lap for the duration of the film. Please note we do not offer a special "Kids" ticket to Late screenings for those 12-and-under.
We're happy to welcome movie loving dogs to this venue! PLEASE NOTE: you are responsible for cleaning up after your dog, and all dogs must be kept on a leash at all times.
We offer fresh popcorn, candy and movie snacks with contactless order and pickup. We also have a special food and drink area to enjoy concessions/food that you brought with you and a bar complete with ready-to-drink cocktails, beer and wine. You are welcome to bring your own food but outside drink is not permitted.
To ensure you have the most comfortable cinema experience, we offer three different seating types!
- An adjustable deckchair Lounge Seat for one
- A double-width, adjustable deckchair Love Seat for two (comes with one free popcorn for each guest!)
- A plush Beanbag for one (comes with one free popcorn!)
SUMMER SPECIAL - Because it's summer and we all deserve a sweet deal, we've dropped prices for lounge seats and beanbags throughout October 3. Please see below for the seating layout.
For Prime screenings starting between 8:45-9 p.m., we offer a Kids Ticket for moviegoers 12 and under, ranging from $12–$15. Guests with this ticket type must be accompanied by an adult and, as always, we suggest checking the movie's rating before booking your tickets.
