For Pride Month this year we’re showing multiple LGBTQIA+ hits and films loved by the community! For a film well-known for its hypermasculinity, reading between the lines of Fight Club paints a fascinating portrait of male liberation in the face of patriarchal limitations and repression. Based on the book by Chuck Palahniuk (who came out as gay a few years after the movie was released), Fight Club is a movie rife with subtext and latent homoeroticism. Nothing says “Happy Pride Month” like a shirtless Brad Pitt!
