Onscreen Romances: Dream Duo’s We Can’t Get Enough Of

Don’t you just love when the cutest on-screen couples jump from film to film together? We certainly do, so we’ve created a list of our all-time favorite onscreen romances. Dear actors: consider this our suggestion for you to just marry your onscreen-forever-partner.

Adam Sandler & Drew Barrymore

Onscreen Romances:

The Wedding Singer (1998), 50 First Dates (2004), Blended (2014)

Why We Love Them:

Whether it’s 80s lovers or modern-day Hawaii, we’re always a fan of these two. 50 dates or 100, we’re onboard.

Adam Sandler & Drew Barrymore

Matthew McConaughey & Kate Hudson

Onscreen Romances:

How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003), Fool’s Gold (2008)

Why We Love Them:

Kate clearly couldn’t lose Matthew in 10 days, because their onscreen romance jumped into another film! What we do know from both of these films is that the chase is always there between them. Just wed already!

Matthew McConaughey & Kate Hudson

Emma Stone & Ryan Gosling

Onscreen Romances:

Crazy, Stupid, Love (2011), Gangster Squad (2013), La La Land (2016)

Why We Love Them:

The. Cutest. Couple (in our opinion). The onscreen chemistry is definitely there and we surely wouldn’t mind seeing them paired up for a 4th film (or 5th…or 6th…).

Emma Stone & Ryan Gosling

Jennifer Lawrence & Bradley Cooper

Onscreen Romances:

Silver Linings Playbook (2012), Serena (2014), Joy (2015)

Why We Love Them:

So there’s a 16-year age difference between them, big deal. Age is just a number with these two, apparently, because they’re onscreen chemistry is oh-so-real.

Jennifer Lawrence & Bradley Cooper

Kate Winslet & Leonardo DiCaprio

Onscreen Romances:

Titanic (1997), Revolutionary Road (2008)

Why We Love Them:

Don’t we all strive for a love like Jack and Rose’s? (The answer is yes). So when we see the two actors hand in hand again in ANY film, it just pulls at our heartstrings.

Kate Winslet & Leonardo DiCaprio

Anne Hathaway & Jake Gyllenhaal

Onscreen Romances:

Brokeback Mountain (2005), Love & Other Drugs (2010)

Why We Love Them:

Okay granted, unlucky for Anne, Gyllenhaal’s character turned out to be gay in the first film they coupled in together, so that was never going to work – but their romance in Love & Other Drugs is too adorable to deny.

Anne Hathaway & Jake Gyllenhaal

Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie

Onscreen Romances:

Mr. and Mrs. Smith (2005), By the Sea (2015)

Why We Love Them:

Well the obvious one here, is that they became an actual couple outside of the big screen. On-screen or off, there’s no denying that they’re one sexy couple, and we love ‘em for it.

Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie

Steve Carell & Marisa Tomei

Onscreen Romances:

Crazy, Stupid, Love (2011), The Big Short (2015)

Why We Love Them:

They’re both HILARIOUS! If their steamy, dramatic, and oh-so-humorous relationship didn’t knock your socks off in Crazy, Stupid, Love, then maybe you’re into a more serious relationship between the two in The Big Short.

Steve Carell & Marisa Tomei

Woody Allen & Diane Keaton

Onscreen Romances:

Love and Death (1975), Annie Hall (1977), Manhattan (1979)

Why We Love Them:

Coincidence that the (arguably) best Woody Allen films are all ones the lovely Diane Keaton in them? We think not! The two are two darn cute together and we just can’t get enough.
